Collection box, which brings together facsimile editions of the 12 issues of the extraordinary and timeless magazine Persona, published between 1977 and 1985, by the Center for Pessoan Studies, of Porto, dedicated to the interpretation of the work of Fernando Pessoa, published by Tinta-da-China, in partnership with Casa Fernando Pessoa.

Arnaldo Saraiva and Jerónimo Pizarro, researchers of Pessoa’s work, sign texts, in an original notebook, included in the collection.

Among others, they collaborated with texts, in the various issues of Persona magazine, names such as: Eduardo Lourenço, José Augusto Seabra, Eugénio de Andrade, Agustina Bessa Luís, E.M. de Melo e Castro, Eduardo Prado Coelho, Jacinto do Prado Coelho, Yvette K. Centeno, Fernando Guimarães, Ana Hatherly, Teresa Rita Lopes, Maria de Fátima Marinho, Vasco Graça Moura, Luís Miguel Nava, Leyla Perrone Moisés, Arnaldo Saraiva, Jorge de Sena and Mário Cesariny de Vasconcelos.

Did you know that Fernando Pessoa in a letter to his friend and poet Armando Côrtes-Rodrigues, announced that "I will make a big change in my life: I will take the circumflex accent of my surname. As (in the circumstances indicated below) I will publish some things in English, I think it is better to misfit myself from the useless, which damages the name cosmopolitally". And that Persona is the Latin ether of the word Pessoa, and in the ancient Latin theater, Persona meant mask.
