Tabacaria / Tobacco Shop, a poem attributed to Álvaro de Campos, heteronym of Fernando Pessoa, is one of the most known and admired texts of the poet’s work. It was first published in the magazine Presença, nº 39, Coimbra, in July 1933.

Casa Fernando Pessoa launched this special edition in 2023, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the first edition of this extraordinary poem.

This small book of 16 pages is available in 5 languages: english, french, italian, spanish and in the original portuguese.

This edition in Italian has been translated by Antonio Tabucchi. 

The composition and cover are by Pedro Serpa.
