Tabacaria / Tobacco Shop, a poem attributed to Álvaro de Campos, heteronym of Fernando Pessoa, is one of the most known and admired texts of the poet’s work. It was first published in the magazine Presença, nº 39, Coimbra, July, 1933.

 

Casa Fernando Pessoa launched this special edition in 2023, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the first edition of this outstanding poem.

 

This small book of 20 pages is available in 5 languages: english, french, italian, spanish and in the original portuguese.

 

Clara Riso, Director of Casa Fernando Pessoa, wrote the introduction to this edition.

 

The composition and cover are by Pedro Serpa.
