Did you know that the famous painting of Almada Negreiros (1954), depicting Fernando Pessoa at a coffee table, was an order from the Irmãos Unidos café-restaurant, which at the time was located in the eastern block of Rossio, Lisbon. It was in this café that Fernando Pessoa met several times in lively literary gatherings with Mário de Sá-Carneiro, Almada Negreiros, António Ferro, Luiz de Montalvor, José Pacheco and Alfredo Guizado, to whose family the restaurant belonged.
